Visa information



All foreign nationals wishing to visit Russia need to have a visa in order to enter the Russian Federation. There are different types of visa depending on the purpose of your visit. It is not possible to obtain a visa at the airport or boarder, when entering Russia.

Visas are issued by Russian Embassies / Consulates upon presenting the invitation and paying the consular fee. You can stay in Russia for the period of time stated on your visa. If you want to stay in Russia longer you must leave Russia and apply for the visa again.

Official invitations or so-called visa-support letters are required for all types of visas. It is the first thing you need to get before applying for Russian visa. UTS Russia offers services for tourist and business visa support.

Upon receipt of your visa support, you may apply for a visa at any Embassy or Consulate worldwide on your own or you can use local visa service agency that can complete the process for you. All online requests are processed immediately by our office in Moscow, Russia.


Citizens of the United States, European Union, Swiss Confederation, Liechtenstein, Canada, and Japan DO NOT need visas for entering Ukraine anymore. The rule is valid for short term visits, up to 90 days. After the 1st of September, 2005 it has turned from a temporary campaign to a constant clause of the Ukrainian Law. However, for the reconfirmation, we would recommend to contact the Ukrainian Consulate in your country before travelling. We hope that the new visa regulations will be supportive for your Ukrainian travel.

For obtaining a tourist visa to Ukraine at the Ukrainian Consulates for citizens of other countries, the following will be required the visa support (letter of invitation and/or hotel(s) confirmation), UTS Russia provides this type of service.


In general, all foreign nationals are required to have business or tourist visas to enter Kazakhstan. To obtain a Kazakhstan visa foreign citizens should apply to a Kazakhstan diplomatic/consular institution in their country of residence. According to the Resolution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of modifications and additions to the "Instruction on issuing visas of Republic of Kazakhstan" from 15.02.2004, the following countries are not required Kazakhstan Visa Support to obtain Single Tourist/Business visa - EU countries, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore


Citizens of EU countries, the USA, Canada, Japan, Israel, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, San Marino, Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, South Korea and CIS nations need no visa to visit Georgia for up to 90 days. If you’re not from one of the above countries, you can get a visa from a Georgian embassy or consulate.


All foreign nationals except citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, are required to have business or tourist visas to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan. Before application for the tourist visa, foreign nationals need to obtain Uzbekistan visa support.
